Return and Cancellation Policy (US Customers)

Effective Date: September 1, 2025


These Return and Cancellation Terms (hereinafter - “Return Policy”) govern the return, replacement, and cancellation of products (hereinafter - “Units”) between Emlid Tech Kft., which has its registered address at Esztergomi út 31-39. HUB3. ép. 5. em. 1138, Budapest, Hungary, (hereinafter the “Vendor”) and the customer (hereinafter the “Buyer”) purchasing through the e-commerce channel of the website store.emlid.com (hereinafter - “Platform”), exclusively for Buyers located within the United States

Definitions 

“Unit” - any individual Emlid product purchased through the Emlid online store, including but not limited to Reach RS2+, Reach RS3, Reach RX, and Reach M2, along with any accessories or components included in the original packaging at the time of sale.

1. Order Cancellation

The Buyer may cancel order in full within 2 (two) hours after completing the payment.
To do so, please contact our support team immediately at sales@emlid.com. Orders cannot be canceled after this 2-hour window has passed.

2. Return of Unused Products

We accept returns of unused and unopened products within 91 (ninety-one) calendar days from the payment date. The following conditions apply:

  • Returned items must be in original, unopened packaging.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer.

  • To initiate a return, please contact us at sales@emlid.com to receive return authorization and instructions.

  • Emlid will make a refund to the customer within 7 days after the warehouse has confirmed the receipt of the product. 

Emlid reserves the right to inspect returned items before issuing a refund. Products that are opened, used, or damaged may not qualify for return.

Note: This return rule applied only to individual Customers. It doesn’t apply to purchases made by legal entities (business or organisation). 

3. Warranty and Defective Products

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects or failure to meet specifications during the applicable warranty period:

  • 1 year for Reach RS2+, Reach RS3, and Reach RX

  • 60 days for Reach M2

If your Unit is defective:

  1. Contact our support team at sales@emlid.com, and we will guide you through the troubleshooting process.

  2. If the Unit is confirmed to be defective after examination (which may include remote diagnostics or return of the product), we will send you a replacement unit free of charge within 1 (one) month after the examination.

  3. If replacement is not possible, we will issue a full refund within 1 (one) month after completing the examination.

Note: Return shipping of defective units must be prepaid by the Buyer. Emlid does not cover return logistics.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Please note that applicable state sales taxes and duties are included in most purchases, though some exceptions may apply depending on the jurisdiction of delivery. Customers are responsible for any additional local taxes not collected at checkout.

Emlid reserves the right to update or amend this Return and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website and will not apply retroactively to purchases already completed.
